Ongoing Yoga Classes

Class are MWF at 9:15 AM

 W 5:30-6:30 PM      

**Yin Yoga is Wednesday morning at 9:15-10:30  and  emphasizes on meditative, passive, static postures, held for 3-5 minutes to nourish, expand and strengthen the connective tissue.  This practice complements an active, Yang practice

Tai Chi for MindBody Connection

Each Tuesday, join Chris Chapman to gather weekly to learn new forms (a total of 12).  For those who are returning to the practice, we will explore the deepening aspects of the practice while fine tuning the 12 forms.  The forms are simple and cost the mind/body connection.


Tuesdays 4-5:00 PM.   Suggested donation of $6.  Classes resume January 14, 2020

Meditation

Monthly Meditation with Peter Ryner


 Introduction to Meditation:  In this class, Peter will explore three core elements of meditation: How to bring oneself into a meditative state; What to do once in a meditative state; and third, how to use what has been experienced during meditation to reshape and enrich one's everyday life.  Each session will include between one and three short meditations, each one lasting no more than ten to fifteen minutes.  Peter has found that these short sessions are often easier for people who are just beginning to explore the world of meditation, and as a useful way to share several different concepts and techniques. 


Guided Meditation:

Peter will use a variety of techniques from different traditions to gently and safely guide you into a meditative state, and from there take you on a journey within, allowing you to become more aware of your spiritual path, to understand personal patterns or incomplete issues that  are keeping you  from being who and where you want to be, and to be more in touch with your intuition and personal wisdom. 
Anyone who is interested in meditation is welcome, no matter your level of experience, or personal spiritual practice. The classes are held upstairs at the Center in a welcoming, safe and serene setting.Although Peter does not charge for his instruction, donations to help meet the overhead expenses of the Center are deeply appreciated.
